PRODUCER

Having set up Parsley Productions in 1999, I soon found myself producing, directing and editing hundreds of short corporate and educational films as well as some broadcast docs and award winning shorts, a few of which you can see below.
My latest project is the urban fantasy feature Film 'HUM', written and directed by Stefano Nurra, following on the festival success of the short version which was officially selected by Fantasia, FrightFest and Sitges among many others.
SORRY YOU'RE LEAVING

Winner of the Best Cinematography Award at London's 48 Hour Film Project 2011, this film was conceived, shot, edited and graded in just 2 days.  We were given a strict set of parameters by the organisers of the competition that had to be included in the final film:  genre - drama; character - Alison or Alistair Sanders who is a collector; line of dialogue - "should we leave it like this?"; prop - a brush.

It starred Paul Reynolds, Angela Griffin and Adam Longworth and the highly talented crew included Grant Fulton (Director), Michael Hawkins (DOP) and Michael Holden (Writer).

HIGH PRESSURE

The following year we won Best Writer for Michael Holden's script at London's 48 Hour Film Project 2012.  The parameters this time were:  genre - period piece (we went with 1980s); character - Charli Cipriani, a minor celebrity; line of dialogue - "Let me tell you a secret"; prop - cream.

It starred Paul Reynolds, Emma Kilby and Jamie Kenna.

DUE PROCESS?

A documentary I produced, directed and edited for Al Jazeera's People and Power strand that followed the campaign for justice by the family and local community of Omar Deghayes, a Guantanamo prisoner.   After 5 years incarceration he was eventually released without charge in 2007.
